VanEssa boot lid hook - small accessory with great impact

This small assistant allows fresh air to pass through the tailgate in your car and supplies fresh air while sleeping.
Improved air circulation can be achieved, for example, in combination with a ventilation grille for the sliding window or our VanEssa mosquito nets.
When using the airlock, the boot lid is opened about 10 cm but still remains shut and protected from theft.
You can also use the hook for ventilation while it is raining - no water enters over the boot lid.
Just put the hook in the lower closing bracket that it functions as an extension to the original lock.
For broad tailgates (thick vehicle lining, California Beach with chairs) we recommend the extra long hook, otherwise the air hardly enters the van.
Our customers may choose: our standard length provides a smaller but still sufficient ventilation gap. The extra long version extends the gap by further 4 cm, this way more air comes in.

*Do not mistake the closing aid with the closing loop attached at the lid, we mean the electrical closing assistance system that makes an audible sound when the lid touches the closing point.

The figures are in parts with the old shape of the boot lid hook. Depending on the vehicle type and construction year we deliver the adequate hook.
Attention Do not use while driving or whilst the motor is running as exhaust fumes could enter the interior room of the vehicle!
* Special feature Renault Kangoo III / Mercedes Citan II / Nissan Townstar: To increase the contact surface, a foam block is placed underneath so that the tailgate can snap into place.
* Special feature Opel Vivaro / Fiat Talento / Renault Traffic / Nissan NV300 and Primastar: To be able to lock the van with the tailgate hook, the button at the bottom left of the rear must be pressed simultaneously.

Habe den langen Haken für meinen VW T5 und bin sehr zufrieden. Solide verarbeitet und sehr einfach in der Handhabung. Kann man easy auch allein anbringen, da der Haken sehr stabil ausgeführt ist. Ob lange oder kurze Variante ist wohl Geschmacksache, ich finde die Öffnung mit langer Variante sehr gut und nicht zu groß.
